The Gospel of Thomas, one of the texts found preserved in the Nag Hammadi Library, gives these words of the living Jesus:
Jesus said, `I am not your master. Because you have drunk, you have become drunk from the bubbling stream which I have measured out....
He who will drink from my mouth will become as I am: I myself shall become he, and the things that are hidden will be revealed to him.'
He who will drink from my mouth will become as I am: What a remarkably heretical image! The Gospel of Thomas, from which we take that text, is an extraordinary scripture. Professor Helmut Koester of Harvard University notes that though ultimately this Gospel was condemned and destroyed by the evolving orthodox church, it may be as old or older than the four canonical gospels preserved, and even have served as a source document to them.

The Gospel of Thomas

These are the secret sayings that the living Jesus spoke and Didymos Judas Thomas recorded.
1. And he said, "Whoever discovers the interpretation of these sayings will not taste death."
2. Jesus said, "Those who seek should not stop seeking until they find. When they find, they will be disturbed. When they are disturbed, they will marvel, and will reign over all. [And after they have reigned they will rest.]"
3. Jesus said, "If your leaders say to you, 'Look, the (Father's) kingdom is in the sky,' then the birds of the sky will precede you. If they say to you, 'It is in the sea,' then the fish will precede you. Rather, the (Father's) kingdom is within you and it is outside you.
When you know yourselves, then you will be known, and you will understand that you are children of the living Father. But if you do not know yourselves, then you live in poverty, and you are the poverty."
4. Jesus said, "The person old in days won't hesitate to ask a little child seven days old about the place of life, and that person will live.
For many of the first will be last, and will become a single one."
5. Jesus said, "Know what is in front of your face, and what is hidden from you will be disclosed to you.
For there is nothing hidden that will not be revealed. [And there is nothing buried that will not be raised.]"
6. His disciples asked him and said to him, "Do you want us to fast? How should we pray? Should we give to charity? What diet should we observe?"
Jesus said, "Don't lie, and don't do what you hate, because all things are disclosed before heaven. After all, there is nothing hidden that will not be revealed, and there is nothing covered up that will remain undisclosed."
7. Jesus said, "Lucky is the lion that the human will eat, so that the lion becomes human. And foul is the human that the lion will eat, and the lion still will become human."
8. And he said, "The person is like a wise fisherman who cast his net into the sea and drew it up from the sea full of little fish. Among them the wise fisherman discovered a fine large fish. He threw all the little fish back into the sea, and easily chose the large fish. Anyone here with two good ears had better listen!"
9. Jesus said, "Look, the sower went out, took a handful (of seeds), and scattered (them). Some fell on the road, and the birds came and gathered them. Others fell on rock, and they didn't take root in the soil and didn't produce heads of grain. Others fell on thorns, and they choked the seeds and worms ate them. And others fell on good soil, and it produced a good crop: it yielded sixty per measure and one hundred twenty per measure."
10. Jesus said, "I have cast fire upon the world, and look, I'm guarding it until it blazes."
11. Jesus said, "This heaven will pass away, and the one above it will pass away.
The dead are not alive, and the living will not die. During the days when you ate what is dead, you made it come alive. When you are in the light, what will you do? On the day when you were one, you became two. But when you become two, what will you do?"
12. The disciples said to Jesus, "We know that you are going to leave us. Who will be our leader?"
Jesus said to them, "No matter where you are you are to go to James the Just, for whose sake heaven and earth came into being."
13. Jesus said to his disciples, "Compare me to something and tell me what I am like."
Simon Peter said to him, "You are like a just messenger."
Matthew said to him, "You are like a wise philosopher."
Thomas said to him, "Teacher, my mouth is utterly unable to say what you are like."
Jesus said, "I am not your teacher. Because you have drunk, you have become intoxicated from the bubbling spring that I have tended."
And he took him, and withdrew, and spoke three sayings to him. When Thomas came back to his friends they asked him, "What did Jesus say to you?"
Thomas said to them, "If I tell you one of the sayings he spoke to me, you will pick up rocks and stone me, and fire will come from the rocks and devour you."
14. Jesus said to them, "If you fast, you will bring sin upon yourselves, and if you pray, you will be condemned, and if you give to charity, you will harm your spirits.
When you go into any region and walk about in the countryside, when people take you in, eat what they serve you and heal the sick among them.
After all, what goes into your mouth will not defile you; rather, it's what comes out of your mouth that will defile you."
15. Jesus said, "When you see one who was not born of woman, fall on your faces and worship. That one is your Father."
16. Jesus said, "Perhaps people think that I have come to cast peace upon the world. They do not know that I have come to cast conflicts upon the earth: fire, sword, war.
For there will be five in a house: there'll be three against two and two against three, father against son and son against father, and they will stand alone."
17. Jesus said, "I will give you what no eye has seen, what no ear has heard, what no hand has touched, what has not arisen in the human heart."
18. The disciples said to Jesus, "Tell us, how will our end come?"
Jesus said, "Have you found the beginning, then, that you are looking for the end? You see, the end will be where the beginning is.
Congratulations to the one who stands at the beginning: that one will know the end and will not taste death."
19. Jesus said, "Congratulations to the one who came into being before coming into being.
If you become my disciples and pay attention to my sayings, these stones will serve you.
For there are five trees in Paradise for you; they do not change, summer or winter, and their leaves do not fall. Whoever knows them will not taste death."
20. The disciples said to Jesus, "Tell us what Heaven's kingdom is like."
He said to them, "It's like a mustard seed, the smallest of all seeds, but when it falls on prepared soil, it produces a large plant and becomes a shelter for birds of the sky."
21. Mary said to Jesus, "What are your disciples like?"
He said, "They are like little children living in a field that is not theirs. When the owners of the field come, they will say, 'Give us back our field.' They take off their clothes in front of them in order to give it back to them, and they return their field to them.
For this reason I say, if the owners of a house know that a thief is coming, they will be on guard before the thief arrives and will not let the thief break into their house (their domain) and steal their possessions.
As for you, then, be on guard against the world. Prepare yourselves with great strength, so the robbers can't find a way to get to you, for the trouble you expect will come.
Let there be among you a person who understands.
When the crop ripened, he came quickly carrying a sickle and harvested it. Anyone here with two good ears had better listen!"
22. Jesus saw some babies nursing. He said to his disciples, "These nursing babies are like those who enter the (Father's) kingdom."
They said to him, "Then shall we enter the (Father's) kingdom as babies?"
Jesus said to them, "When you make the two into one, and when you make the inner like the outer and the outer like the inner, and the upper like the lower, and when you make male and female into a single one, so that the male will not be male nor the female be female, when you make eyes in place of an eye, a hand in place of a hand, a foot in place of a foot, an image in place of an image, then you will enter [the kingdom]."
23. Jesus said, "I shall choose you, one from a thousand and two from ten thousand, and they will stand as a single one."
24. His disciples said, "Show us the place where you are, for we must seek it."
He said to them, "Anyone here with two ears had better listen! There is light within a person of light, and it shines on the whole world. If it does not shine, it is dark."
25. Jesus said, "Love your friends like your own soul, protect them like the pupil of your eye."
26. Jesus said, "You see the sliver in your friend's eye, but you don't see the timber in your own eye. When you take the timber out of your own eye, then you will see well enough to remove the sliver from your friend's eye."
27. "If you do not fast from the world, you will not find the (Father's) kingdom. If you do not observe the sabbath as a sabbath you will not see the Father."
28. Jesus said, "I took my stand in the midst of the world, and in flesh I appeared to them. I found them all drunk, and I did not find any of them thirsty. My soul ached for the children of humanity, because they are blind in their hearts and do not see, for they came into the world empty, and they also seek to depart from the world empty.
But meanwhile they are drunk. When they shake off their wine, then they will change their ways."
29. Jesus said, "If the flesh came into being because of spirit, that is a marvel, but if spirit came into being because of the body, that is a marvel of marvels.
Yet I marvel at how this great wealth has come to dwell in this poverty."
30. Jesus said, "Where there are three deities, they are divine. Where there are two or one, I am with that one."
31. Jesus said, "No prophet is welcome on his home turf; doctors don't cure those who know them."
32. Jesus said, "A city built on a high hill and fortified cannot fall, nor can it be hidden."
33. Jesus said, "What you will hear in your ear, in the other ear proclaim from your rooftops.
After all, no one lights a lamp and puts it under a basket, nor does one put it in a hidden place. Rather, one puts it on a lampstand so that all who come and go will see its light."
34. Jesus said, "If a blind person leads a blind person, both of them will fall into a hole."
35. Jesus said, "One can't enter a strong person's house and take it by force without tying his hands. Then one can loot his house."
36. Jesus said, "Do not fret, from morning to evening and from evening to morning, [about your food--what you're going to eat, or about your clothing--] what you are going to wear. [You're much better than the lilies, which neither card nor spin.
As for you, when you have no garment, what will you put on? Who might add to your stature? That very one will give you your garment.]"
37. His disciples said, "When will you appear to us, and when will we see you?"
Jesus said, "When you strip without being ashamed, and you take your clothes and put them under your feet like little children and trample then, then [you] will see the son of the living one and you will not be afraid."
38. Jesus said, "Often you have desired to hear these sayings that I am speaking to you, and you have no one else from whom to hear them. There will be days when you will seek me and you will not find me."
39. Jesus said, "The Pharisees and the scholars have taken the keys of knowledge and have hidden them. They have not entered nor have they allowed those who want to enter to do so.
As for you, be as sly as snakes and as simple as doves."
40. Jesus said, "A grapevine has been planted apart from the Father. Since it is not strong, it will be pulled up by its root and will perish."
41. Jesus said, "Whoever has something in hand will be given more, and whoever has nothing will be deprived of even the little they have."
42. Jesus said, "Be passersby."
43. His disciples said to him, "Who are you to say these things to us?"
"You don't understand who I am from what I say to you.
Rather, you have become like the Judeans, for they love the tree but hate its fruit, or they love the fruit but hate the tree."
44. Jesus said, "Whoever blasphemes against the Father will be forgiven, and whoever blasphemes against the son will be forgiven, but whoever blasphemes against the holy spirit will not be forgiven, either on earth or in heaven."
45. Jesus said, "Grapes are not harvested from thorn trees, nor are figs gathered from thistles, for they yield no fruit.
Good persons produce good from what they've stored up; bad persons produce evil from the wickedness they've stored up in their hearts, and say evil things. For from the overflow of the heart they produce evil."
46. Jesus said, "From Adam to John the Baptist, among those born of women, no one is so much greater than John the Baptist that his eyes should not be averted.
But I have said that whoever among you becomes a child will recognize the (Father's) kingdom and will become greater than John."
47. Jesus said, "A person cannot mount two horses or bend two bows.
And a slave cannot serve two masters, otherwise that slave will honor the one and offend the other.
Nobody drinks aged wine and immediately wants to drink young wine. Young wine is not poured into old wineskins, or they might break, and aged wine is not poured into a new wineskin, or it might spoil.
An old patch is not sewn onto a new garment, since it would create a tear."
48. Jesus said, "If two make peace with each other in a single house, they will say to the mountain, 'Move from here!' and it will move."
49. Jesus said, "Congratulations to those who are alone and chosen, for you will find the kingdom. For you have come from it, and you will return there again."
50. Jesus said, "If they say to you, 'Where have you come from?' say to them, 'We have come from the light, from the place where the light came into being by itself, established [itself], and appeared in their image.'
If they say to you, 'Is it you?' say, 'We are its children, and we are the chosen of the living Father.'
If they ask you, 'What is the evidence of your Father in you?' say to them, 'It is motion and rest.'"
51. His disciples said to him, "When will the rest for the dead take place, and when will the new world come?"
He said to them, "What you are looking forward to has come, but you don't know it."
52. His disciples said to him, "Twenty-four prophets have spoken in Israel, and they all spoke of you."
He said to them, "You have disregarded the living one who is in your presence, and have spoken of the dead."
53. His disciples said to him, "Is circumcision useful or not?"
He said to them, "If it were useful, their father would produce children already circumcised from their mother. Rather, the true circumcision in spirit has become profitable in every respect."
54. Jesus said, "Congratulations to the poor, for to you belongs Heaven's kingdom."
55. Jesus said, "Whoever does not hate father and mother cannot be my disciple, and whoever does not hate brothers and sisters, and carry the cross as I do, will not be worthy of me."
56. Jesus said, "Whoever has come to know the world has discovered a carcass, and whoever has discovered a carcass, of that person the world is not worthy."
57 Jesus said, "The Father's kingdom is like a person who has [good] seed. His enemy came during the night and sowed weeds among the good seed. The person did not let the workers pull up the weeds, but said to them, 'No, otherwise you might go to pull up the weeds and pull up the wheat along with them.' For on the day of the harvest the weeds will be conspicuous, and will be pulled up and burned."
58. Jesus said, "Congratulations to the person who has toiled and has found life."
59. Jesus said, "Look to the living one as long as you live, otherwise you might die and then try to see the living one, and you will be unable to see."
60. He saw a Samaritan carrying a lamb and going to Judea. He said to his disciples, "that person ... around the lamb." They said to him, "So that he may kill it and eat it." He said to them, "He will not eat it while it is alive, but only after he has killed it and it has become a carcass."
They said, "Otherwise he can't do it."
He said to them, "So also with you, seek for yourselves a place for rest, or you might become a carcass and be eaten."
61. Jesus said, "Two will recline on a couch; one will die, one will live."
Salome said, "Who are you mister? You have climbed onto my couch and eaten from my table as if you are from someone."
Jesus said to her, "I am the one who comes from what is whole. I was granted from the things of my Father."
"I am your disciple."
"For this reason I say, if one is whole, one will be filled with light, but if one is divided, one will be filled with darkness."
62. Jesus said, "I disclose my mysteries to those [who are worthy] of [my] mysteries.
63 Jesus said, "There was a rich person who had a great deal of money. He said, 'I shall invest my money so that I may sow, reap, plant, and fill my storehouses with produce, that I may lack nothing.' These were the things he was thinking in his heart, but that very night he died. Anyone here with two ears had better listen!"
64. Jesus said, "A person was receiving guests. When he had prepared the dinner, he sent his slave to invite the guests.
The slave went to the first and said to that one, 'My master invites you.' That one said, 'Some merchants owe me money; they are coming to me tonight. I have to go and give them instructions. Please excuse me from dinner.'
The slave went to another and said to that one, 'My master has invited you.' That one said to the slave, 'I have bought a house, and I have been called away for a day. I shall have no time.'
The slave went to another and said to that one, 'My master invites you.' That one said to the slave, 'My friend is to be married, and I am to arrange the banquet. I shall not be able to come. Please excuse me from dinner.'
The slave went to another and said to that one, 'My master invites you.' That one said to the slave, 'I have bought an estate, and I am going to collect the rent. I shall not be able to come. Please excuse me.'
The slave returned and said to his master, 'Those whom you invited to dinner have asked to be excused.' The master said to his slave, 'Go out on the streets and bring back whomever you find to have dinner.'
Buyers and merchants [will] not enter the places of my Father."
65. He said, "A [...] person owned a vineyard and rented it to some farmers, so they could work it and he could collect its crop from them. He sent his slave so the farmers would give him the vineyard's crop. They grabbed him, beat him, and almost killed him, and the slave returned and told his master. His master said, 'Perhaps he didn't know them.' He sent another slave, and the farmers beat that one as well. Then the master sent his son and said, 'Perhaps they'll show my son some respect.' Because the farmers knew that he was the heir to the vineyard, they grabbed him and killed him. Anyone here with two ears had better listen!"
66. Jesus said, "Show me the stone that the builders rejected: that is the keystone."
67. Jesus said, "Those who know all, but are lacking in themselves, are utterly lacking."
68. Jesus said, "Congratulations to you when you are hated and persecuted; and no place will be found, wherever you have been persecuted."
69. Jesus said, "Congratulations to those who have been persecuted in their hearts: they are the ones who have truly come to know the Father.
Congratulations to those who go hungry, so the stomach of the one in want may be filled."
70. Jesus said, "If you bring forth what is within you, what you have will save you. If you do not have that within you, what you do not have within you [will] kill you."
71. Jesus said, "I will destroy [this] house, and no one will be able to build it [...]."
72. A [person said] to him, "Tell my brothers to divide my father's possessions with me."
He said to the person, "Mister, who made me a divider?"
He turned to his disciples and said to them, "I'm not a divider, am I?"
73. Jesus said, "The crop is huge but the workers are few, so beg the harvest boss to dispatch workers to the fields."
74. He said, "Lord, there are many around the drinking trough, but there is nothing in the well."
75. Jesus said, "There are many standing at the door, but those who are alone will enter the bridal suite."
76. Jesus said, "The Father's kingdom is like a merchant who had a supply of merchandise and found a pearl. That merchant was prudent; he sold the merchandise and bought the single pearl for himself.
So also with you, seek his treasure that is unfailing, that is enduring, where no moth comes to eat and no worm destroys."
77. Jesus said, "I am the light that is over all things. I am all: from me all came forth, and to me all attained.
Split a piece of wood; I am there.
Lift up the stone, and you will find me there."
78. Jesus said, "Why have you come out to the countryside? To see a reed shaken by the wind? And to see a person dressed in soft clothes, [like your] rulers and your powerful ones? They are dressed in soft clothes, and they cannot understand truth."
79. A woman in the crowd said to him, "Lucky are the womb that bore you and the breasts that fed you."
He said to [her], "Lucky are those who have heard the word of the Father and have truly kept it. For there will be days when you will say, 'Lucky are the womb that has not conceived and the breasts that have not given milk.'"
80. Jesus said, "Whoever has come to know the world has discovered the body, and whoever has discovered the body, of that one the world is not worthy."
81. Jesus said, "Let one who has become wealthy reign, and let one who has power renounce ."
82. Jesus said, "Whoever is near me is near the fire, and whoever is far from me is far from the (Father's) kingdom."
83. Jesus said, "Images are visible to people, but the light within them is hidden in the image of the Father's light. He will be disclosed, but his image is hidden by his light."
84. Jesus said, "When you see your likeness, you are happy. But when you see your images that came into being before you and that neither die nor become visible, how much you will have to bear!"
85. Jesus said, "Adam came from great power and great wealth, but he was not worthy of you. For had he been worthy, [he would] not [have tasted] death."
86. Jesus said, "[Foxes have] their dens and birds have their nests, but human beings have no place to lay down and rest."
87. Jesus said, "How miserable is the body that depends on a body, and how miserable is the soul that depends on these two."
88. Jesus said, "The messengers and the prophets will come to you and give you what belongs to you. You, in turn, give them what you have, and say to yourselves, 'When will they come and take what belongs to them?'"
89. Jesus said, "Why do you wash the outside of the cup? Don't you understand that the one who made the inside is also the one who made the outside?"
90. Jesus said, "Come to me, for my yoke is comfortable and my lordship is gentle, and you will find rest for yourselves."
91. They said to him, "Tell us who you are so that we may believe in you."
He said to them, "You examine the face of heaven and earth, but you have not come to know the one who is in your presence, and you do not know how to examine the present moment."
92. Jesus said, "Seek and you will find.
In the past, however, I did not tell you the things about which you asked me then. Now I am willing to tell them, but you are not seeking them."
93. "Don't give what is holy to dogs, for they might throw them upon the manure pile. Don't throw pearls [to] pigs, or they might ... it [...]."
94. Jesus [said], "One who seeks will find, and for [one who knocks] it will be opened."
95. [Jesus said], "If you have money, don't lend it at interest. Rather, give [it] to someone from whom you won't get it back."
96. Jesus [said], "The Father's kingdom is like [a] woman. She took a little leaven, [hid] it in dough, and made it into large loaves of bread. Anyone here with two ears had better listen!"
97. Jesus said, "The [Father's] kingdom is like a woman who was carrying a [jar] full of meal. While she was walking along [a] distant road, the handle of the jar broke and the meal spilled behind her [along] the road. She didn't know it; she hadn't noticed a problem. When she reached her house, she put the jar down and discovered that it was empty."
98. Jesus said, "The Father's kingdom is like a person who wanted to kill someone powerful. While still at home he drew his sword and thrust it into the wall to find out whether his hand would go in. Then he killed the powerful one."
99. The disciples said to him, "Your brothers and your mother are standing outside."
He said to them, "Those here who do what my Father wants are my brothers and my mother. They are the ones who will enter my Father's kingdom."
100. They showed Jesus a gold coin and said to him, "The Roman emperor's people demand taxes from us."
He said to them, "Give the emperor what belongs to the emperor, give God what belongs to God, and give me what is mine."
101. "Whoever does not hate [father] and mother as I do cannot be my [disciple], and whoever does [not] love [father and] mother as I do cannot be my [disciple]. For my mother [...], but my true [mother] gave me life."
102. Jesus said, "Damn the Pharisees! They are like a dog sleeping in the cattle manger: the dog neither eats nor [lets] the cattle eat."
103. Jesus said, "Congratulations to those who know where the rebels are going to attack. [They] can get going, collect their imperial resources, and be prepared before the rebels arrive."
104. They said to Jesus, "Come, let us pray today, and let us fast."
Jesus said, "What sin have I committed, or how have I been undone? Rather, when the groom leaves the bridal suite, then let people fast and pray."
105. Jesus said, "Whoever knows the father and the mother will be called the child of a whore."
106. Jesus said, "When you make the two into one, you will become children of Adam, and when you say, 'Mountain, move from here!' it will move."
107. Jesus said, "The (Father's) kingdom is like a shepherd who had a hundred sheep. One of them, the largest, went astray. He left the ninety-nine and looked for the one until he found it. After he had toiled, he said to the sheep, 'I love you more than the ninety-nine.'"
108. Jesus said, "Whoever drinks from my mouth will become like me; I myself shall become that person, and the hidden things will be revealed to him."
109. Jesus said, "The (Father's) kingdom is like a person who had a treasure hidden in his field but did not know it. And [when] he died he left it to his [son]. The son [did] not know about it either. He took over the field and sold it. The buyer went plowing, [discovered] the treasure, and began to lend money at interest to whomever he wished."
110. Jesus said, "Let one who has found the world, and has become wealthy, renounce the world."
111. Jesus said, "The heavens and the earth will roll up in your presence, and whoever is living from the living one will not see death."
Does not Jesus say, "Those who have found themselves, of them the world is not worthy"?
112. Jesus said, "Damn the flesh that depends on the soul. Damn the soul that depends on the flesh."
113. His disciples said to him, "When will the kingdom come?"
"It will not come by watching for it. It will not be said, 'Look, here!' or 'Look, there!' Rather, the Father's kingdom is spread out upon the earth, and people don't see it."
[Saying probably added to the original collection at a later date:]
114. Simon Peter said to them, "Make Mary leave us, for females don't deserve life."
Jesus said, "Look, I will guide her to make her male, so that she too may become a living spirit resembling you males. For every female who makes herself male will enter the kingdom of Heaven."

A Critical Mass
A new spiritual awakening is occurring in human culture, an awakening brought about by a critical mass of individuals who experience their lives as a spiritual unfolding, a journey in which we are led forward by mysterious coincidences.
The Longer Now
This awakening represents the creation of a new, more complete world view, which replaces a five-hundred-year-old preoccupation with secular survival and comfort. While this technological preoccupation was an important step, our awakening to life's coincidences is opening us up to the real purpose of human life on this planet, and the real nature of our universe.
A Matter Of Energy
We now experience that we live not in a material universe, but in a universe of dynamic energy. Everything extant is a field of sacred energy that we can sense and intuit. Moreover, we humans can project our energy by focusing our attention in the desired direction...where attention goes, energy flows...influencing other energy systems and increasing the pace of coincidences in our lives.
The Struggle For Power
Too often humans cut themselves off from the greater source of this energy and so feel weak and insecure. To gain energy we tend to manipulate or force others to give us attention and thus energy. When we successfully dominate others in this way, we feel more powerful, but they are left weakened and often fight back. Competition for scarce, human energy is the cause of all conflict between people.
The Message Of The Mystics
Insecurity and violence ends when we experience an inner connection with divine energy within, a connection described by mystics of all traditions. A sense of lightness - buoyancy - along with the constant sensation of love are measures of this connection. If these measures are present, the connection is real. If not, it is only pretended.
Clearing The Past
The more we stay connected, the more we are acutely aware of those times when we lose connection, usually when we are under stress. In these times, we can see our own particular way of stealing energy from others. Once our manipulations are brought to personal awareness, our connection becomes more constant and we can discover our own growth path in life, and our spiritual mission - the personal way we can contribute to the world.
Engaging The Flow
Knowing our personal mission further enhances the flow of mysterious coincidences as we are guided toward our destinies. First we have a question; then dreams, daydreams, and intuitions lead us towards the answers, which usually are synchronistically provided by the wisdom of another human being.
The Interpersonal Ethic
We can increase the frequency of guiding coincidences by uplifting every person that comes into our lives. Care must be taken not to lose our inner connection in romantic relationships. Uplifting others is especially effective in groups where each member can feel energy of all the others. With children it is extremely important for their early security and growth. By seeing the beauty in every face, we lift others into their wisest self, and increase the chances of hearing a synchronistic message.
The Emerging Culture
As we all evolve toward the best completion of our spiritual missions, the technological means of survival will be fully automated as humans focus instead on synchronistic growth. Such growth will move humans into higher energy states, ultimately transforming our bodies into spiritual form and uniting this dimension of existence with the after-life dimension, ending the cycle of birth and death.
Holding The Vision
The Tenth Insight is the realization that throughout history human beings have been unconsciously struggling to implement this lived spirituality on Earth. Each of us comes here on assignment, and as we pull this understanding into consciousness, we can remember a fuller birth vision of what we wanted to accomplish with our lives. Further we can remember a common world vision of how we will all work together to create a new spiritual culture. We know that our challenge is to hold this vision with intention and prayer everyday.
Extending Prayer Fields
The Eleventh Insight is the precise method through which we hold the vision. For centuries, religious scriptures, poems, and philosophies have pointed to a latent power of mind within all of us that mysteriously helps to affect what occurs in the future. It has been called faith power, positive thinking, the power of prayer. We are now taking this power seriously enough to bring a fuller knowledge of it into public awareness. We are finding that this prayer power is a field of intention and moves out from us and can be extended and strengthened, especially when we connect with others in a common vision. This is the power through which we hold the vision of a spiritual world and build the energy in ourselves and others to make this vision a reality.
The Twelfth Insight is yet to be released.
Random thoughts: Every now and then it is nice to sit back and just ponder. Here are the random thoughts and pondering I did within the past few minutes.
Perhaps you have thought about some of these things at least once in your life.?
Why is it when I draw often in my pictures faces come out in places I didn't intentionally draw any faces? (Like for an example, I draw a complete human, and in all of the shadowing and details, there are many faces accidentally there or partially there for me to see enough to complete them.
if there was ever an anti Christ, would it be a complete opposite of Christ? in all aspects, even gender?
(What’s weird is i wrote a story about this and named the character jasmine, come to find out part of the plot of angel this week was about a woman born of two vampires, and they named her jasmine cause she kept bringing up the fact she loved the smell of that flower,)
Which makes me think yeah someone else has thought the same way I have.
When I am on a highway I think about how a fire ant must feel when crawling along some ones arm, and how they bite after a period of time.
Driving down a long strip of scene less highway must be similar to that, except as a human, i cant bite into the pavement to release stress, like the ant can bite into flesh to relieve the stress of traveling the mundane path.
I wonder how much we naturally know (knowledge we where born with?)
and how much we have learned through out life?
and which is more important?
I wonder if never taught the meaning of good and bad, would we really know?
what if we felt good about things, that society said was bad,
and bad about the things society said is good
would we be evil or just different?
what do animals think?
it cant just be about, lets find food, lets find sex, lets find that human, lets just lay down 55% of the time.

what are their dreams about?
and if they can't think like humans think, why do they dream?
What is the point of dreaming?
Who are we, do we know, why do we always say we, what is we? is it better to say we then I for those of spiritual faiths? as the we indicates selflessness ,and the I indicates egotism? Or is it better to say I that we, because we are one, so that I am you, and you are me, and you and I make we> so when I talk about you, I talk about me, and everything I talk about
should I say I or we?
what if we where like bee's
the higher levels, The Queen and there mates,
are like the rich people of the world
the mid levels, the warrior bee's are like our police and military.
the final level being the drones,
the common folk of the world.
the drones are expendable
and do all the hard grueling shit work
the warriors attack and protect the queen and the mates
an the queen and her chosen few get fat on honey, and over populate the colony, causing an eventual branch off into a new colony
who eventually ends up in a war with the old colony
this cycle just repeats itself>
could it be this way in human society?
what if everything I draw exist in some other dimension?
what if everything I create has a consciousness
somewhere deep inside myself would i know this,
or would my knowing of this be through them, thus till the find me, i wont know?

I wonder how many parts in the bible actually say 3.14?
would all of those chapters say something about eternity?
what would have more wisdom of the world if it could talk,

do we just assume that some animals cannot see in color, or do we know it is a fact?

can science really things, or is that just another false truth, designed to mislead?
can history teach us the truth, or is it more likely to be somewhat mysterious and mythical because it is from taken from many different perceptions. different history, from different point of view.
Considering how many people live on earth, and that we are the most advanced in technology, on earth, does that mean we are the most wise, on the planet, or does it mean we are the most ignorant on the planet?
Because we think we are so wise, perhaps, we are not.
and as the plants and animals don’t think about being wise, they are humble, and are the wise ones
If there is many forms of intelligent life on this planet, the only planet of nine in this solar system
How many other solar systems, which have 9 planets, have intelligent life
is there a rule that only one of nine planets have intelligent life
or could the planets count down in each solar system.
Why carbon based life? Why not base life with silicon?

How do you know that I am not alone if I am one,

But together are we many, or are we one?
And if we are one, then why not I instead of we?

Finally, why do things seam to always go in circles?
Makeup and witch craft:
Now from what I understand makeup used to be considered witchcraft once upon a time in the old ages.
And in a couple of different movies there are a couple of things that where said that goes along with this. (Yeah I know movies really don’t know shit but hey for topics sake I got to share.)
so in WARLOCK the witch hunter tells the woman he meets, that in his day if his woman had wore makeup she would have been burned at the stake.
In THE CRAFT they are reading a book about Glamour.
Of course they called it a spell and did some chants and stuff to make glamour work, but the definition is what catches my ear, "an illusion that appears so real it often fools onlookers."
this to me is what makeup is
that definition defines it well.
its one thing to go to a club and ware a little makeup just to make things fun, but Women especialy seam to make a big deal about makeup and use it from the moment they get up till bed time, Yes i know not all women but still.
to me this kind of creeps me out, cause apparently women are the most insecure creatures on this planet in this way.
for they have to make an illusion to look good, and feel good about themselves.
what is up with that, PARLOR TRICKS
that is the magic most want to learn, makeup itself is nothing more then a parlor trick.

A woman came out of her house and saw three old men with long white beards
sitting in her front yard. She did not recognize them. She said "I don't
think I know you, but you must be hungry. Please come in and have
something to eat."
"Is the man of the house home?", they asked.
"No", she replied. "He's out."
"Then we cannot come in", they replied.
In the evening when her husband came home, she told him what had
happened.
"Go tell them I am home and invite them in!"
The woman went out and invited the men in.
"We do not go into a House together," they replied.
"Why is that?" she asked.
One of the old men explained: "His name is Wealth," he said pointing to
one of his friends, and said pointing to another one, "He is Success,
and I am Love." Then he added, "Now go in and discuss with your husband
which one of us you want in your home."
The woman went in and told her husband what was said. Her husband was
overjoyed. "How nice!!", he said. "Since that is the case, let us invite
Wealth. Let him come and fill our home with wealth!"
His wife disagreed. "My dear, why don't we invite Success?"
Their daughter-in-law was listening from the other corner of the house.
She jumped in with her own suggestion: "Would it not be better to invite
Love? Our home will then be filled with love!"
"Let us heed our daughter-in-law's advice," said the husband to his
wife.
"Go out and invite Love to be our guest."
The woman went out and asked the 3 old men, "Which one of you is Love?
Please come in and be our guest."
Love got up and started walking toward the house. The other 2 also got
up and followed him. Surprised, the lady asked Wealth and Success: "I
only invited Love, Why are you coming in?"
The old men replied together: "If you had invited Wealth or Success, the
other two of us would've stayed out, but since you invited Love,
wherever He goes, we go with him. Wherever there is Love, there is also
Wealth and Success!"
MY WISH FOR YOU...

I have come to realize that there are allot of very lonely guys out there.
Considering that the guys are the ones who posted on the thread.
Ladies what the is wrong with this picture?
To the lonely men:
Stop looking, here is why.
The more you look for something the harder it is to find.
For some strange reason if it is lost, or you dont know where it is, you end up looking every damn place that it wont be.
same goes with the mate you seek.
relax, be happy with your life the way it is.
you only think you are lonely cause you where conditioned to think if you dont have a mate that you are alone. but there are plenty of other lonely people out there just as lonely as you if not more. some people dont even have 1 single friend. Some people dogs wouldn’t be their friends.
Because of the fact there are so many lonely people in the world, you are not alone. so thus you are not lonely.
Chances are once you come to this realization, you will feel a bit better.
if you have friends spend time with them.
Go do stuff with them, go see your family, go to all of the weddings and gatherings that your family and friends have, and have a good time.
Don’t think about what girls are going to be there, or if you are going get laid. Just let go of such things, cause for some reason these things make the actual events less enjoyable. And make it that much worse on you. Because here you are in the negative sending out this negative vibe, it’s in your body language and in your posture, and in your actions. No one likes a party pooper.
so now you have got this under control, you are spending time with friends and family and you are meeting more people.
Eventually you will meet this one person who draws you in, and you dont know why but there is a deep connection, then sparks.
WOW see how easy that was you didn’t have to look, it was they’re waiting for you to make the journey.
if you don’t have friends, go meet people.
Take up a hobby that involves people, like working out at a GYM.
Go meet your neighbors (bring back the old days when it was cool to talk to your neighbors)
Go to public awareness events or to your church, temple or what ever.
Talk to your CO-workers, believe it or not, chances are even if they aren’t the same type of person you are, there will be some common interest you share. Thus you will possibly make a new friend. the more friends you have the greater the chances are you will meet someone you will connect deeply with, see above portion, and go from there.
to the ladies:
if you are lonely stop your bitching,
there are plenty of lonely guys out there, and for the most part read the advise i told them.
but if all else fails, stop going for the guys that know they have got it going on and can have any body, cause well for one, they KNOW they can have anyone, so even if they want you, you will be just a thing that they can have and throw away when it no longer means anything to them, in some cases you'll be in the garbage with the condom he used to fuck you, the very same night he did fuck you.
if nothing else, look at those guys that look like lost little puppy dogs.
they are lost and feel abandoned, and just want love.
you know the look, i am sure you have seen at least one stray dog in your life.
isnt the lost puppy dog look cute?
take the puppy dog home and feed him some kitty.
you got a pet!!!!! now you aren’t lonely anymore :)
THE LOSS OF A PARRENT:
Though for some this would be a mother or a father, in my case it is my grandmother I speak of.
Every since I was 7 months old my grandmother and grandfather took care of me, as my mother died of leukemia and my father was young at the time. Well my grandparents had always been there, and they where essentially my mother and my father. They guided everything that was the core of my being.
MY grandfather had always been the worker, and the calm one, while my grandmother was the bridge that held the family together. Both had their own strengths that brought on a well-balanced household. Though I spent a lot of time with both I found it easier to have open communication with my grandmother. I talked to her about anything and everything. My grandfather I spent a lot of time with going to the movies, walking through the woods, and learning this and that about "man stuff". But again each had their lessons and gifts to bestow upon me. And on October 24th 2001 my 24th birthday, my grandmother passed away.
And though on the outside and by all appearances I remained strong for the rest of the family, deep down inside I was torn and lost. My grandmother had just fell ill the day of the fall of the twin towers. I caught the news at the hospital, while waiting to find what was wrong. She got out a few days later, only to go back in the weekend before my birthday. It turned out to be cancer. I was in and out of the hospital until that last day when she passed at 4pm. And though I was hurting friends of mine had bought me ticket to tool, so I went on to the concert not 30 minutes after her passing.
Through the whole ordeal I was so emotionally dead, I had shut all of my emotions off, so that I could be the strength of the family through this. And on the day of the funeral I was told, it was up to me to say the eulogy. I talked about how my grandparents where and how that essentially they are in this day a rare breed. And I said if there was any way to ever repay these two wonderful, kind, giving people, it was to carry forth their kindness into the generations to come, to keep on giving to those who are in need.
The oncoming months after her death I dealt with it, by not dealing at all, but rather burying it with the onslaught of parties, and drugs. I didn’t want to think, and I didn’t want to feel. At first, I thought I could be OK with it, that this was just another one of my spiritual lessons, and I knew that this day would come. I just didn’t want it to come so soon. And after a long time, I finally began to talk about it little by little, expressing what little I could. A friend of mine (Christina) was one of the few people that helped me through the entire ordeal.
But loosing a parent is a difficult thing, because never in your life will you trust someone as much as you do those who have raised you. As they have spent a good portion of your life with you, and they help mold you into what you have become. It is almost like if GOD was walking with you down a long path and along the way you met people, who god said, hey lets take them with us (friends). And further down the path you meet people who go along for the walk. Then one day you look and God is no longer there, only a couple of the friends that GOD said was cool is still there, and you begin to look at all of the others and realize they like a little bit like wolves, whom have been waiting for the shepherd to leave. Loosing a parent is a lot like that.
But it doesn’t have to destroy your faith, as all things are born to die. Faith is knowing though you may not trust certain vessels you can trust the force behind them.
And with that being said I give you, the journal entry I wrote they day of her death….

Well I was sitting with my grandmother, holding her hand. I said to her, "let go and be free of all your burdens, I appreciate everything, you have ever done for me." In my head I heard a voice that said, "you will know when, pay close attention to her eyes." Then I watched as my uncle left the room and she took one last peaceful breath, then her eyes darkened and slightly closed. I could see that she was finally at peace. The peace I saw in her eyes was so beautiful. At this point I am not saddened as a matter of fact I view this as a wonderful gift for my birthday. To witness beauty in death. I came down to inform Lloyd what had taken place. Then I told Debbie. And at that moment, as I was explaing that grandma was at peace, a beautiful yellow butterfly fluttered by and I pointed it out to Debbie. Thinking about it I took it as a symbol of grandmas transition from this world to the next. The night before I had got a cd, that almost symbolized what would come the next day, FULL CIRCLE. Well it has come all the way around, and now there I peace for my grandmother.
A letter to GOD:
To whom it may concern,
I cannot speak for the rest of the creation, but I do write this to say my peace, as well as get many things off my mind and chest.
I am angry because I so want to know you, yet how can I when you do not make yourself known?
There are many books that are soposed to be your words or your guidance yet how can I trust these words that are written by flawed men, like myself?
Men who you created for reasons only speculated by us, the human race.
At one time I felt I did know you, but I am constantly reminded that you are beyond fathom of the human mind. And so I have lost some of my faith. Do these people say this because they themselves are full of doubt when it concerns you, or are they telling the truth, that no human may know you?
How can I trust anything that you have created with such flaw?
Humans lie, cheat and steal, among other things. Thus the woods in a book seam meaningless, the frailties of their words mean nothing. Even as I sit here and write this, I feel even my words have little meaning.
I am angry because in one of you books, maybe others, your teachers claim that punishment is due for not following your will. And though your will is claimed to be well known by the followers of such teachings, it all goes back to the flawed words of man.
If I am unworthy of knowing you, what made those men so worthy? Are not all of the men and women on earth flawed beings by your standards, or is this yet another lie?
Perhaps what we are commonly told by the various faiths are all lies, but how am I to know, how are we to know?
You never sit with us, and talk to each of us, yet you expect love from us, or punishment due!! But how can we love you, we know nothing about you, save what other flawed beings have told us, in there spoken words, or in books.
Should we believe and love something we know nothing of, and trust the words of men who very well could be lying to us?
Or should we find you in ways that we know we can trust?
Is there any way that you can show us as individuals?
Are you a part of me, or are you just a separate being somewhere in the cosmos looking down upon me?
I am human I make mistakes, and thus I feel I am flawed. I have to learn, and grow and still I learn next to nothing, and only grow and inch or so.
Does this make me flawed or is this part of a perfect plan?
Should I believe what others say are your words, or should I follow my own path, as I have been doing for so long? Should I follow what I have been taught as I grew from a boy to a man or should I be my own teacher?
Who are you?
Where are you?
Why aren’t you here?
In my faith, I know you, in my dreams I see you, in my mind I hear you, as you have always been, here. Without the doubts placed on my by others, you and I are one, in communion, an in goal.
Love is the common thread we share, along with creativity, and compassion.
IN my views you don’t rely on a single book to speak your words, but rather you speak through the subconscious, as well as creative endeavors. And if I am wrong about my views all I ask is that you tell me, in a way that I cannot misinterpret or in a way that is clear as clean glass to me. Otherwise, my sins, my mistakes, are not my folly alone. And you take on to yourself the errors I make, as I take on the errors of all my ancestors, (in a way that means you.)

Weird: ok you may or may not find this interesting, but i did.
About an hour ago i found an old drawing i did back in my 1999 notebook journal.
the drawing was a circle with the four elements around it
in the circle i had the astrological signs set up like a clock, 1 being aries 12 being pisces. i also had it number 1 through 12 just like a clock,
in the circle was a north tipped penticle or to some who dont know what that means a upwards pointing pentagram.
now here is where it gets interesting, because i didnt notice this when i drew it but...
the top point of the star was dirrectly in between the 12 and the 1 (as it should be when pointing up) but if it is a perfect star like this one was the rest of the points fall on interesting numbers
the top left point falls on 10 top right on 3
the bottom left falls on 8 and the bottom right on 5
here are all the numbers again
12 + 1 = 13
10 + 3 = 13
8 + 5 = 13
very interesting
so we have 3 sets of 13 3 being a positive spiritual number in almost all religions
13 can be either good or bad depending on who you are
i like the number 13.
in christianity 13 is the tribes of the hebrews
i am not sure what it means elsewhere but still this is interesting
now what makes it more interesting is on my door i have 13 insights 13 trials
so if the third came in what would it be? 13 ????

Good vs Evil
I have seen that which is good and I have seen evil
To know them both is a travesty
For life is in a balance of love and hate
Fear and faith
I have fallen into the abyss
And came through the other side
And I know more then I should
The voices of the apocalyptic chaos scream loudly
As the air is filled with something so familiar
Have I been here at the exact moment before?
Or is this all just a dream, a horrible nightmare from which I cannot awake
Evil is the way that it is due to emptiness
And in its quest to fill the void that cannot be filled it gathers things
Of secular wealth, and intoxicants, to some what sate the hollowness it feels?
With fear it arises in anger and hate and consumes all in its path,
As the emptiness is bounded by its own darkness
And good is the way it is cause it defeats the emptiness and fear
With the light of acts of kindness and love
And goodness knows no secularism or selfishness
For it is the sacrifice of desire and the offering of faith.
expanding consciousness
There are billions of needy people in the world
And their lives are worth what they make
As they pour their blood and sweat into they’re living
Trying to make sense out of a senseless world
They rarely see their own purpose
As they try to point out reasons to exist to others that may cross their paths
And in all of their hard work, and good deeds
They often forget they are flawed
As they gripe and complain about the flaws of others
And history tends to repeat itself with or without lessons learned
As we all are not above or below any of these things
As this touches us all in some sadistic yet fateful way
Some call it karma others call it the will of god
But no one really truly knows anything
About the nature of what is or may be
As the universe is never ending possibility
And eternity beckons each day
We are further down the spiral
And we kind of like it this way
We climb we fall ever repeating this
Ever Trapped forever in the hear and now
Thinking there will be a tomorrow
In this expanding consciousness that is collapsing into itself

And there where dogs
There are some people in this world that are much like canines
The follow you to the ends of the earth, and their loyalties are high.
These are the kind of people that are worth everything but are treated as nothing
You can kick them when they are down, and they will still be there loving and caring for you.
These are often the best people to have around
Yet they get the worst out of people
And all dogs really need is just a little love and appreciation.
The inquisitor
Once there was a child whom questioned everything.
His dad worked 6 days a week and was barely home except on Sundays, and his mom
Did the best she could keeping things in order at home.
One day the little boy came to his mom after watching his favorite tv show The Average Jones’s, and he questioned, "mom why cant we be like the Jones’s?"
"the Jones’s, have a pool a nice house, their dad is always around to offer advice, and they get to go all kinds of exciting places."
His mom looked at him and said," Well that is tv and is make believe average people aren’t really like that."
The boy looked at her confused, and she said to him, "you should appreciate what you have rather then complain about what you don’t have, as there are far worse off people in the world."
And the boy says to his mom, "but we aren’t those other people" And his mom says, " but we aren’t the Jones’s either."
Frustrated that the boy didn’t understand still, she retired to her room and called her husband and told him what was happening. He calmly told her to take the little boy on a tour of a homeless shelter so that he could see how much better his life then many people’s.
So the next day the mom takes the little boy to the shelter and shows him what the people lived like, and yet the boy still didn’t see the point.
So even more frustrated that night the mom called her husband again and told him of what happened.
And he said ," when I get home this weekend I will pretend to kick you and him out, and you will walk around the streets all day so that he understands better."
So sure enough that weekend the dad gets home and acts angry at the mom and says get out and take the boy with you.
The little boy in tears questioned his mother and asked her why.
She told him that, it was all due to the fact that dad didn’t appreciate what he had, and they where being punished. The Little boy said. " But why?" And the mother said, " well he wanted to have a wife and son like the Jones’s."
And the little boy said," but why isn’t he happy with us, why does he have to have a wife and son like them, aren’t we good enough?"
At that moment the mother smiled and said, " lets go home."
Confused the little boy asked what was going on.
The mother looks at her son, and says, "this was all to teach you a lesson, and you finally figured it out so we can go home."
The dope man
The dope man was a good looking fellow about 6"2 and build like a rock. He had a warm smile and a good heart. He was always helping the neighbors with any problems, he would help old ladies cross the street, the only real flaw he had is he sold dope, and he didn’t care who bought it.
One day and older gentleman came to buy a little of his product. The older man had salty gray hair, and looked much older then he was, he carried himself as someone a little too far gone and a little too burned out to be continuing in the dope scene. He paid for his dope and loaded the glass bowl with a little speed and began to smoke. Then with his wide glassy looking eyes he turned and looked at the dope man, and said " this is some good stuff, is there anything you don’t have that is good?"
The dope man perplexed looked at the older gentleman and paused for a moment, then he said," there is nothing I have that is not good. I have the house of my dreams with a large fenced in yard. I have a pool in the back with spa next too it, and slide leading into the pool. I have all of the game systems anyone could ever want with all the good games for them. I have a large collection of dvd’s and vhs , as well as a large collection of vinyl, and cassettes. I have every instrument I ever dreamed of owning. I have The most powerful computer to date with a t1 connection. I have a dodge viper, and a delorien in the garage. I have women who flock to me, and friends that are there when I need them. I have a college degree in chemistry, and a library of books that would take all my life to read. And I even have a nice cabin for my winter vacation in Colorado. There isn’t anything that I have got that isn’t good."
So the old gentleman looks at the dope man wide eyed and sternly and says," Be careful because what you have could be gone tomorrow."
And with that he leaves.
Not long after a woman shows up and does a bump of heroine which the dope man sold her, and offers some to him. He declines, and so she takes more. Moments later she starts convulsing on the floor. He being the kind man that he was he called 911 and asked for help.
A few minutes later they arrived and asked him to walk off so they could do their job.
As they where treating the woman, they asked her where she got her dope. And in her delirium, she uttered with her last breath here, and then she died. A few moments later the police arrived after being called by the medical technicians. The bring in the canine unit and begin searching the house when they found the dope mans stash. They confiscated a pound of marijuana, 2 ounces of coke, 4 ounces of heroine, 3 ounces of meth, and 200 pills of X. The man was sentenced to 50 years in prison, for involuntary manslaughter, and 20 for controlled substances.
In the prison the man laid and wept over all that he lost. Then a familiar voice rang through his ears from the top bunk. "why are you weeping?"
The dope man said, " because everything I had was good, and I lost it all because I made a call to save one of my customers who overdosed." The old familiar voice spoke again, " But what you lost was nothing compared to the life you wanted to save, did you save her."
The dope man wept louder, "No," he replied.
The old voice spoke again, "Why weep more at least you tried."
"But I tried for nothing," said the dope man.
Then a figure of a man climbed down from the top bunk and the dope man recognized him as the old gentleman whom he sold the speed too. The old man said to the dope man, "and what have you learned from all of this, did you perhaps gain a soul, by losing your goods?"
The dope man looked up at the old man with a puzzled look. "Who are you?"
The old man looked at the dope man and smiled then looked up and vanished.
***Repeating hell
Like most people I live my life day to day and following similar mundane routines. I wake up and read the paper, eat my breakfast, and head off to work. I come home check my email and watch a little TV, and sometimes read a book. I brush my teeth twice a day and shower once every other day depending on my activities. I eat at least 3.5 meals a day and occasionally have a snack during prime time TV. My story is much like any other mans story, yet I seam to be noticing a pattern here. I do have my quarks, as I drink heavily on the weekends, and I have been known to do a drug or two from time to time. I guess I started to notice something weird about 4 years back, when I took the most LSD I have ever consumed in my life. It was a peaceful night and the moon was full and beautiful. Time seamed to linger this night, and the more time went by the more I felt a familiar feeling. I couldn’t place this déjàvu that I felt, but it was all to surreal. It felt as if I had done that exact moment many times before, as if I had lived this exact life, for an eternity. And as time passed by and the moon changed its position, I began to predict what would occur next. Oddly my predictions where accurate. I was with three friends and I knew what they would talk about and how they would respond to each conversation topic. I even knew that my friend Jill would end up having a bad trip. I knew to the detail that I knew she would think we where a cult out to get her.
Sure enough it all happened this way. It took us a while to bring Jill down, but me being someone who has had a few bad trips of my own, I knew a few tricks in the book. Though all of this seamed vaguely familiar I began to forget my pondering of living the same life over and over. Then began to dwell on why there are so many people that when they have bad trips, it is usually to the effect that their friends are cult members in their trip. Jill was not the first person whom I had seen fly off the handle and assume everyone around ‘em was a cult member waiting to sacrifice them to their god(s).
It seamed as though most people, whom have bad trips, happen to fall into this category regardless of their faith or religious views. Even I have fell victim to this sort of trip.
Eventually after that night, everything went back to the normal mundane rituals of everyday life and I was completely lulled and distracted from my pondering.
A few months later it happened again, I got that overwhelming feeling of déjàvu. This time I was drinking heavily at my favorite bar having a conversation with an acquaintance of mine. The conversation was about a enchanted item he has found, yet cannot destroy, and even when he seams to be rid of the item it shows up in his life when he finds himself most comfortable. And as James was telling me about this item a stranger walked up to me, looked at James and touched my back, and said, " Pay attention, what is being said is important." Just before that fear was sinking in due to the redundant familiarity I felt within the moment. After the strange gave me his message, he casually walked off as to not distract me from the conversation I was in. It was almost as if he could see my energy and that my fear itself was distracting me from learning very important information. Yet that was the only time I ever saw him, and I still to this day cannot be sure what his intentions where. A couple of days later I was walking around the main party strip looking for something to do. I first went into a club that I had free passes to, so I could watch a friend’s performance, but as I drank my first beer. I again felt that familiar feeling, and I felt as though this place was not where I needed to be, so I walked further down the street. That’s when I noticed the sign next to a small pub, "free beer, free cover, come on it." Though hesitant at first I could not resist the temptation of the free beer so I entered. To my surprise there was much beauty within this quaint little bar. There where paintings of beautiful women all around the bar. And the people and conversation was friendly. There was even some nice philosophical rules above the bar for everyone to read. I thought to myself, " this is my kind of place. I ended up making a few friends within the bar by discussing openly my ideas and spiritual beliefs, though eventual one of the people I was talking with changed the conversation to conspiracy theories. He told me about a gas that was sprayed in major cities, from highflying jets. This took place twice a day, once in the morning, and once in the evening, and often the gas appeared to be sprayed in a grid like pattern. At this point I thought the guy was silly, but later on I would find that what he said had a lesson to be learned within,
A few months go by and a friend of mine visits me from out of state. By this time I have had many encounters with this déjàvu like state. And even became aware of such occurrences during sobriety. He told me of some events on the bus ride down, and of the strangeness, he even showed me a pin that was given to him by another patron of the bus. It was a gold plated marines symbol. Ward was a little freaked out by this, but he was rather paranoid in those days as he was just getting clean off speed, and he was getting away from the area that a few of his dealers had just been busted in. That night my roommate Dawn, Ward, and I went to buy some LSD. We ended up buying a ten strip, and we where going to party rather hard. When we arrived back at my apartment, My friend Helena called and wanted to come over. So when she arrived all four of us took the acid, and did our own thing while waiting for the drug to kick in. Ward was learning from Dawn about witchcraft as he was curious, and wanted to learn multiple perspectives even though he was a devout Christian. When he began to peak, he noticed the small bag in the corner and the symbol that resided on it. It was the marine insignia just like the pen that was given to him on the bus. This freaked him out, and at this point I was peaking as well, and I explained to him that everything would be OK, which he was just becoming more aware, having an awaking of sorts.
He then explained that they guy whom gave him the pen told him that he was being watched, and not to worry that everything was going be OK. The man explained that Ward was being watched over and being protected. When Ward questioned the man about what he meant, the man gave him the marine pen and told him this would provide all of the answers he needed. Then as the man got of the bus Ward asked where he was from, the man Just looked at the sky and disappeared into the shadows. But as Ward began to have questions in his head about the meaning of this trip, I started miraculously answering his questions before he could answer them out loud. Hours seamed to have passed by though, what seamed like hours was a matter of thirty minutes. Later on that night, we decided to try a spell for Spring Equinox. It involved painting eggs with symbols of meaning to each of us, and planting the egg in the dirt, and tapping around the ground three times to awaken the Goddess, for her to bring about the wakening of all things of the spring. We each planted one of our eggs near a tree that was buy the patio of my apartment. Later Ward kept repeating the same sequence inside his head of Dawn, and him going off to the bedroom alone and having sex. To him there was some lesson or pattern in it, even though the rest of us didn’t experience this reality. I continued to ponder within my head, the meaning of these déjàvu experiences. The next morning Ward wakes me up, and drags me outside to see what is going on in the sky, and there was that fear/ familiarity all over again. There was the chemicals being sprayed in grid like patterns early in the morning.
We then walked around the apartment and looked at the tree that we planted the eggs at the base of, and to our astonishment it was in full bloom. As it was dormant the previous night. And all of the other trees around it where starting to bud, but that one tree was blooming with brilliance. A few days later Ward left on the bus back to his home.
A year later after going though many events causing me to become more and more aware of this déjàvu or familiarity, I began to ponder the possibilities of why this was happening. It wasn’t till recently that I stumbled upon a strong possibility that had only been paranoid thoughts a few times before.
I was reading the bible, hoping that maybe it would have an explanation for these events and feelings, as none of my other books had any sound information. I got to the description of hell. "Hell is like unto a lake of fire where you burn in sorrow for eternity." This caused an old thought to resurface. "what if, hell is living the same life over and over again, occasionally remembering going through these things within this life before?" I pondered this more. "Perhaps the end has already came and gone, and I am in hell. Perhaps I have lived this exact moment right now millions of times before. That the reason this déjàvu feeling seams to burn so much is there is something trying to tell me where I am at, perhaps trying to free me. To free me from my own personal hell." I thought on these things for quite sometime, and wondered, could this be possible? The more I dwelled on it the more real it seamed. There would be no better punishment for sin, then living the exact same lifetime over and over again. Yet a loving God would give clues of this happening. Perhaps to make the punishment more horrible, or perhaps to help each individual figure out the secret of getting out of hell. If hell is living the same lifetime over and over again, there would be only one thing that could be done to get out, change your life. These three words I dwelled on for what seamed like hours, Change you life. I thought for a long time, and if hell is a punishment for mistakes, then one must learn from the mistakes that has been made over and over again, and live a life free of those mistakes. Perhaps it would take 100 more times of this same lifetime, but eventually I could learn to lead the perfect life, To correct all of the ill-gotten mistakes of the past. I wonder if the writer of the movie Groundhog Day figured this out too, and was subtly trying to help others become aware of this?
Trust:
As we learn more and more each day we learn about trust.
What is trust so many are to say?
How can I trust others might say?
With so much hatred and deceit in the world, it seams difficult at best to trust anyone or anything.
But I feel rather that trust is a type of knowing.
Perhaps we shouldn’t trust others not to hurt us or not to lie or not to do anything that would be the immediate harm to us in some way.
Perhaps instead we should trust the animals to be animals, the plants to be plants
And humans to be just that, human!
Physical attraction:
Would you date someone who isn’t Physically attractive to you?

I have noticed that a lot of people though seam to be interested in people they have not yet seen, then when they see them they are like ugh um yeah you would make a good friend.
This is sad to me, because looks eventually fade, and the personality is what drives a relationship to greatness.
To me people who are like that are rather shallow.
People look too much at what is on the outside and miss the inside.
And what’s really odd about this, is sometimes what is on the inside can shine through, and alter what is on the outside.

For example you have this friend, who is just not attractive at all physically,
But one day out of no where they all the sudden look yummy. They didn’t change their hair, or their makeup or their clothing, nor did they change their scent
But for some odd reason, they look great.
Perhaps it is the things they did while you where around them, and that shined through. And what you thought was their physical appearance was in all actuality, your perception of them and at the moment they "changed" in all actuality, it was your perception that changed.

The Earth itself is an intelligent life form and by the power of
the Spirit of God within it this great entity began to create life
upon itself. It thus created numerous mineral forms (which
are a form of life) and the plant kingdom, and finally the
animal kingdom. Then many millions of years ago it tried
unsuccessfully to create the human kingdom, but the earth
found it had not reached a high enough point of evolution
itself to successfully do this so help was brought in from
outside of our planet. Twenty three million years ago a few
Israelites of the highest order came to the earth. These were
the first Adams and the greatest of them is called "the
Ancient of Days" (Dan 7:13) in the Bible, the same who
overshadowed Melchizedek.
From time to time other Adams have been sent to act as a
catalyst for the evolution of the Son of God that is within
each man. The story of Adam and Eve has been repeated
numerous times upon the earth and usually occurs after a
great cataclysm. The great flood mentioned in the Bible and
existing in numerous legends was not an isolated occurrence
on this planet, but mankind has come close to annihilation
many times in his long history. After such great destruction is
a good time for advanced beings from other planets to
actually dwell among man and teach him, sometimes even
interbreeding with him.
These facts are hinted at in the Bible. In the first two verses
we read: "In the beginning God created the heaven and the
earth. And the earth was without form, and void; and
darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of
God moved upon the face of the waters." Genesis 1:1-2.
Generally, these two verses are read as if they are taking
place in the same time sequence, but such is not the case.
Verse one describes an event that took place billions of years
ago and verse two describes a scene that has existed
periodically on the earth in the last eighteen million years, the
most recent of which took place prior to the beginning of our
present civilization.
In examining this scripture one may wonder how it is that the
earth can be "without form and void" after it is created. It
could not even be considered a planet if it was truly without
form and void. Fortunately, to the justification of the original
author, this is a grave mistranslation.
The words "without form" are translated from the Hebrew
TOHUW which literally means "to lie waste" or implies a
"desolation", or "destruction".
This sheds an entirely different light on the subject and as
evidence that there was a time lapse between verses one
and two we read that: "He (God) created it (the earth) NOT
in VAIN ("Vain" comes from the same Hebrew word
TOHUW) but formed it to be inhabited." Isaiah 45:18. Since
the earth was not created in a state of TOHUW or
destruction, but was formed to receive inhabitants then the
period of destruction described in verse two had to take
place after a significant time lapse.
The word "void" comes from the Hebrew BOHUW which
means "To be empty, a wasteland, sterile, or an
indistinguishable ruin."
There is only one other place in the Bible where these two
words are used together. It is used describing the destruction
of Babylon, but mistranslated: "The smoke thereof shall go up
for ever: from generation to generation it shall lie waste; non
shall pass through it for ever and ever, but the cormorant and
the bittern shall possess it; and the owl also and the raven
shall dwell in it; and shall stretch out upon it the line of
confusion (TOHUW, desolation) and the stones of
emptiness" (BOHUW, a wasteland). Isaiah 34:10-11.
These two words were the most fitting that Isaiah could find
in describing the desolate wasteland of Babylon after its
destruction. These words were equally fitting for describing a
time after which the earth suffered great destruction. Instead
of "the earth was without form and void . . ." it should read
"The earth became a desolate wasteland . . ."
If the earth became a desolate wasteland, then this implies a
preceding period when the desolation was not there. This
time is described by Isaiah who uses dual meanings in most
of his writings. Not only was Lucifer a symbol of the king of
Babylon described in the Bible, but Isaiah chapter fourteen
also describes a more ancient event. It talks about an ancient
Lucifer who existed before recorded history who was the
leader of a Babylon we have no history of. History goes in
cycles and this ancient Babylon resurfaces periodically in a
new form, but not even modern Babylon compares to this
bygone Babylon headed by Lucifer.
Keep in mind here that a fallen Lucifer is one who was a
great being of light who decided to operate outside of the
Oneness Principle and fell into darkness. There have been a
number of such Lucifers in the history of our planet.
This Biblical Lucifer was at one time a high and intelligent
being who lead a mighty people. His ancestors were not of
this earth, but higher beings from other worlds. His
appointed task was to serve mankind, but instead he decided
he wanted to be served. We read: "How art thou fallen from
heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning!" Isaiah 14:12 How
did he fall from heaven? Did he come in a ship from the
stars? The scripture continues: "How art thou cut down to
the ground which didst weaken the nations!" In place of the
word "weaken" should be "defeat" according to the Hebrew.
Instead of helping mankind to progress according to their
freewill, Lucifer sought to defeat the nations of the earth and
impose his supposedly higher philosophy by force, just as
Hitler tried to do. He tried to take away the free agency of
man and obtain total control over the lives of all men.
"For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I
will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also
upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north;
I will ascend above the heights of the clouds, I will be like the
most High. Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the
sides of the pit." Isaiah 14:13-15
His basic sin here was that he wanted to exalt his throne
"above the stars of God." "God" here is translated from EL
as in IsraEL. The stars of God is a phrase dual in meaning.
IsraEL originally came from the stars of God and Lucifer
wanted to exalt his throne above all the other men of the
earth who were using the power of Israel. Secondly, on the
planets circling the sacred stars of God the IsraELites do not
secure exalted thrones for themselves, but "the greatest of
them is the servant of all". Thus, if Lucifer were to conquer
the nations of the earth and become the exalted Fuhrer he
would exalt himself in a physical sense much higher than his
elder brothers among the stars.
His ideas, however, did not extend to merely the earth, but he
wanted to "ascend above the heights of the clouds" and rule
other planets also and be like the most High. He thought that
if he were to get control of the whole planet and its
resources, he could extend his rule beyond earth and
overcome the peaceful planets of Israel.
Lucifer was a Hitler of his time who succeeded in
overcoming his Israelite brothers for a time, but unrealized by
him were certain laws of cause and effect (karma) which
put an end to his expansive plans. There was great natural
destruction which destroyed his entire kingdom.
Considering this Isaiah wrote: "They that see thee shall
narrowly look upon thee, and consider thee, saying, Is this the
man that made the earth to tremble, that did shake kingdoms;
That made THE WORLD AS A WILDERNESS, AND
DESTROYED THE CITIES THEREOF; that opened not
the house of his prisoners?" Isaiah 14:16-17
Now we see why the earth was described as a desolate
wasteland in Genesis 1:2. Lucifer destroyed the cities and
made the world as a wilderness. Lucifer was further told:
"Thou shalt not be joined with them (the kings of the earth) in
burial, because thou hast destroyed thy land, and slain thy
people." Isaiah 14:20
This was perhaps the greatest and deadliest war that has
ever been fought on the earth and in the end Lucifer slew his
own people, fellow Israelites, who were true to their calling.
A third of the "stars of heaven" or fellow Israelites supported
him, but these were all eventually destroyed by a higher
power: "Prepare slaughter for his children for the iniquity of
their fathers; that they do not rise, nor possess the land, nor
fill the face of the world with cities." Isaiah 14:21
The Karma of Lucifer and his closest followers was so great
that these evil entities have not been able to take a physical
body since that time. The only way that they could incarnate
would be to bring down the vibration of humanity to an
extremely low level, but it must be brought about by the
action of the people themselves. Their first opportunity in
thousands of years came through Hitler, for Hitler received a
number of communications from these beings who thought
along similar lines as himself and believed himself to be
receiving information from God. He also thought he was
chosen by God to usher in the thousand years of peace
which is mentioned in the Bible. The reader will recall that
Hitler prophesied that the third Reich would endure a
thousand years. That figure was not a random choice.
Those who knew Hitler well were amazed when they heard
him speak. They noticed that there was a dramatic change
not only in his voice, but his whole countenance, and he
seemed to be partaking of an energy that filled the whole
room and affected each person present. Hitler himself was
amazed at his own ability after he stunned his first small
audience in the newly formed NAZI party. He had never
had any experience before with public speaking, but from his
first piece of oratory he was a master. Often people came to
listen to him out of curiosity never dreaming that they would
leave the room believing every word he said. His words
seemed to truly penetrate anyone with the slightest selfish or
separative motive. When Hitler finished his talking he was
always as weak as a kitten, drained of energy and sweating
profusely. After he sat down he seemed to be a different
person again.
Some people wondered about this great change and presence
that seemed to overtake Hitler, but few attributed it to
anything but his intense concentration and feeling. Those
who were his closest confidants knew differently. They
knew he possessed a power of some supernatural sorts, a
power that they thought was going to cause them to inherit
the earth and be the overlords of mankind. This inner circle
were members of a secret society which possessed occult
knowledge directing them on the Left Hand Path. It was
called The Order of the Golden Dawn. The regular Nazi
party members knew nothing of it.
Hitler received his first contact with the master he had
chosen to obey, Lucifer, when he was a young man going to
college. He was overshadowed by this being, and using
Hitler's vocal chords proclaimed a message to him and
another associate standing nearby. He was told that he was
chosen to lead the German people to freedom and great
power. Hitler naturally assumed that this message was from
God and immediately accepted the idea that he was "chosen"
and began to keep an eye out for the right opportunity to
offer his services. He began to loose interest in art and set
his eye toward politics. The reason he was contacted by
Lucifer was because he exuded a similar vibration and
shared the same grandiose ego, and a similar drive for power
and acclaim.
Here Lucifer again had a chance to introduce his ideas
directly on the earth, through the sensitive medium of Hitler.
Few listening to that smooth and polished voice ever
dreamed that they were listening to an evil entity described in
the Bible as having caused the destruction of the earth
before recorded history.
Hitler was a good disciple to his master, for he dedicated
everything he had to his purposes. He even refused
marriage, which he inwardly desired, just so he would have
no interference to his cause. Money meant nothing to him
either until the desired goal was obtained. Hitler sacrificed all
the little money he made to insure the triumph of the Nazi
party. Nor was he overindulgent in food. He was a strict
vegetarian and always ate carefully. He even made the
moral majority of his day happy and often insisted on strict
continence of his subjects after he came to power.
An interesting fact often overlooked is that Hitler was
actually a sincere dedicated person who believed he was
doing the world a favor. He believed it because his "God"
had told him that he was chosen and that he would lead his
people to great freedom.
Hitler believed he saw the hand of God influencing events in
his life clear up to the end. From the time of his first
communication to his rise to power was only a few short
years. He thought it a miracle that he should rise from
obscurity in such a manner. Events and circumstances just
seemed to fall in place for him as if controlled by an invisible
hand, and as they did he became more and more confident.

Old Testament bible went from, Biblical Hebrew, To Greek, To Latin to what we recieve in our English counterparts.
The name "Lucifer" makes it's first appearance in the Latin version. Clearly refering to some sort of King and how it got entangled with "shaitan" or "satan" or want not is completely a poor interpretation by some Medival priest or another.
There is nothing, has never been anything in Isaih (the only place the name appears) or anywhere else in the Christian/Torah bible to link "Lucifer" with Satan.
Blame Milton for that. Before Milton the term "lucifer" was only a passing nickname by imbeciles...but to look around today I see that what was imbecilic of Christians 300 years ago is now policy.

It's not used in the new testament except in certain modern day (mis)translations.
Also the bible as we see it today isn't the "original" bible, several books, passages, versions were in effect left on the cutting room floor at the council of Nice(sp? horizon or synn help me out). At which it was decided what would and what would not remain in the Christian bible. And this my friends was WAY after Jesus died/ascended and even after Saul-Paul had passed.
So if the bible WAS infact originally divine, imo, the divinity broke down there.

Ask laziness. One can procure copies of the un-Anglisized Greek or Latin bibles. You can learn to translate two dead languages and you can study up. I did. And quite frankly I was unimpressed with modern translations which I feel given certain circumstance can change the entire message of the faith.
99% of ppl who say they're christian have never even READ the bible cover to cover.
Of that 1% MAYBE 1% have ever tried to translate the mother fucker.

Well honestly, if you want to actually [i]study[/i] the bible a while. I would suggest going out and getting a copy of the un-Anglisized Greek or Latin bibles. Learn Hebrew and Aramaic while you are at it.
But I think just as importantly you would need to study ancient culture. It is near to impossible to understand everthing that any "old" book says if you are totally unaware of the times and conditions that they were written in. Since no printing press existed until 1450 AD, all of the original compilations of the Bible were done by hand.
The history and development of the English Bible can be divided into 3 sections; ancient versions, in other languages, early English versions, and New English versions (since 1901).

other Languages[/b]
The Septuagint Version (285 BC) - This was a translation of the Old Testament Hebrew Scriptures into Greek. Probably done in Alexandria.
The Samaritan Pentateuch (BC?) - A copy of the Hebrew text done in Samaritan characters.
The Peshito or Syriac (1st or 2nd century AD) - A common language translation of the entire Bible used in parts of Syria.
The Codex Sinaiticus (330 AD) - A manuscript that contained the Greek Bible. It was purchased from Russia in 1933 by Great Britain and is now housed in the British Museum.
The Codex Vaticanus (340 AD) - This manuscript is currently housed in the Vatican library in Rome. It originally contained the whole Bible, but parts have been lost.
The Vulgate (400 AD) - A Roman Catholic scholar in Bethlehem by the name of Jerome translated the entire Bible into Latin. This Bible became the standard in the Catholic church for well over 1,000 years.
The Codex Alexandrinus (425 AD) - This Bible is another Greek translation. Currently housed in the British Museum, it is complete except for 40 leaves.

All of the earliest attempts at translating the Bible into English were fragmented. For example, Bishop Aldhelm of Sherbourne translated the Psalms into Old English around 709. Venerable Bede, a monk at Jarrow, translated a portion of the Gospel of John. By 900 AD all of the Gospels and most of the Old Testament had been translated into Old English.
John Wycliffe (1380) - John Wycliffe was the first to plan a complete English translation of the Bible from Latin. His translation was based on the Latin Vulgate. He completed the New Testament prior to his death, and his friends completed the work after his death.
PRINTING PRESS INVENTED - 1450
William Tyndale ( 1525-1530) - Driven from England by persecution, William Tyndale, shared Wycliffe's desire to produce a Bible that the common English-speaking person could understand. Using the Latin Vulgate and other ancient sources, Tyndale was able to translate the New Testament and Pentateuch before he was martyred.
Miles Coverdale (1535) - A friend of Tyndale's, Coverdale was able to publish a complete Bible. It is generally believed Coverdale used Tyndale's work in producing his New Testament. This Bible was done to honor King Henry the VIII.
Matthews Bible (1537) - Despite the name, it is widely accepted that a friend of Tyndale, John Rogus, did most of the work on this Bible. Based largely on Tyndale's previous work, it also contains evidences of Coverdale's work as well. This might well be considered an updated Tyndale Bible.
The Great Bible (1539) - This Bible takes its name from its great physical size. Based on the Tyndale, Coverdale, and Matthews Bibles, it was used mainly in churches. Often chained to a reading desk in a church, people would come to listen as a minister read from the Great Bible.
The Geneva Bible (1560) - Produced in Geneva by scholars who had fled persecution in England under Queen Mary, this Bible was based not only on the Great Bible, but also on the other English translations of that day. Though very scholarly, it was a popular Bible because of its small size.
The Bishops Bible (1568) - This was a revision of the Great Bible and Geneva Bible done under the direction of the Archbishop of Canterbury during the reign of Elizabeth.
Douay-Rheims Bible (1582-1610) - The New Testament was published in Rheims in 1582 and the Old Testament in Douay in 1610. A revision of the Latin Vulgate, this has become the generally accepted English Version for the Roman Catholic Church.
King James Version, KJV (1611) - The most popular translation ever produced, this Bible was done during the reign and at the urging of King James the I of England. 47 scholars, divided into 6 groups, worked on this translation. Based largely on the Bishop's Bible, many Hebrew and Greek texts were also studied as well as all the other available English translations, to insure the best results. By choosing men of many different theological and educational backgrounds, it was hoped individual prejudices of the translators could be minimized. Printed in a handy size and in clear type, the KJV was suppose to please clergy and congregation alike. Despite initial resistance, the KJV became and still is the largest selling translation of the Bible.
Revised Version (1881-1884) - Designed to be a revision of the KJV, the Revised Version, had the advantage of being able to access some of the ancient manuscripts. Although this revision was sponsored by the Church of England, many American scholars were invited to participate.
New English Versions

American Standard Version, ASV (1901) - This revision of the Revised Version incorporates many of the readings first suggested by the American members of the Revision committee of 1881-1885.
Complete Bible: An American Translation (1939) -Often referred to as the Goodspeed version, this translation was done by Edgar J. Goodspeed and J.M. Powis Smith. Using as many ancient texts as possible, Smith and Goodspeed produced a very readable and yet accurate translation. Also included in this translation was the Apocrypha.
Revised Standard Version, RSV (1952) - The National Council of Churches of Christ procured the copyright to the 1901 ASV Bible in the 1920's. Work began on a revision to the ASV, but was abandoned in favor of an entirely new translation. Since many more Hebrew and Greek manuscripts were available to these scholars than were available in 1901, the RSV is considered to be much more accurate. A Very readable translation, the RSV is used in many Protestant denominations today. The revision committee continues to meet at regular intervals and in 1971 a new release was made of the RSV. This has been dubbed the RSV II edition.
New Testament in Modern English (1958) - First published in 1958 and revised in 1973, this translation done by British writer J. B. Phillips is one of the best readings of the New Testament. It is published today by MacMillan Publishers fo New York.

There where other posts within that particular thread, but most of them where one lined comments, and really aren’t informative. To conclude this portion I would like to say, that the devil or Satan, is merle nothing more then that which holds you back in this life.
To some people it may be drugs, to others it may be sex, or money. And even still to some it may very well be their own deep dark desires, but whatever the case your Satan is the road block you never pass. You can very well defeat this adversary but it really is up to you and your faith.
Concerning GOD:
God has many names, and many faces. God is seen different in all walks of life, and has a specific role in each and every persons life. Each person has their own personal relaionship with god and the closeness of the realtionship is dependant on the individual, and their faith. It is no more right for me to tell you who god is then it is for you to tell me as we each know god in our own ways. This being said, who is to be the speaker for god? Perhaps god doesn’t need a personal speaker for god has its ways to communicate with each of us individually.

In metaphysics and religion they say that everything is connected, from the sand beneath your feet to the stars in the sky. in many religions there Is a universal justice, in eastern philosophies, like Buddhism there is Karma. In Christianity what comes around goes around or you reap what you sow. In pagan religions the wheel turns. In science what goes up must come down.
All of this is relative for it is all connected and interwoven.
Perhaps everything in this universe is relative, and connected to everything else. From the spirituality to the science, from the tv to the internet, from the Forrest to the city….. from the book to the movie, from the record to the cd. From the animals to the plants.. to find the truth I to look at the simplicity yet complex nature of our world, ourselves, our universe, that we know. In this we will see the relativity of everything in space time and existence.

All any of us really want is love. Yet more times then none we search the endless search looking for this thing called love..
Rarely do we find this love that we so desperately search for, because we look to hard for it outside of ourselves. When we should realize love is from the creative being of the universe and it dwells within us… and the more of it we give out to others the more of it we receive. as the old mantra I wrote says as we travel through life without doubt love starts from within and works itself out.

As you mirror each other's problems, you are reinforcing the idea that you are limited. You look into others' faces to see your own. That is where you see yourself. If you can move into inner harmony and begin to radiate out a different face, it will truly be a different face! Then all who look upon you will be filled with hope – the hope of their own ultimate Freedom. If you
wish to serve, then clear your own mirror, so that others will see nothing but their Divine Self. If you really want to help, quit the talking, quit the thinking, and begin the loving. Because in the power of unconditional love, you will see that there is nothing to fear. POWER AND LOVE ARE ONE. You know this. Thou art Love. It is what you are now, have always been, and always will be. Any mirror that shows you other is not reflecting truth. Please believe me! The

I Come As A Brother – A Remembrance of Illusions, Chapter 5 (p
55-56).
Someone once said there can never really be any peace. As the world is filled with anger, despair rage, jealousy, and fear.
Though just by watching the movie pearl harbor I saw a way, I saw a possibility. This movie brought out many of my emotions, I was excited, I was filled with joy, I was romance, I laughed, I even shed some tears. As this movie told a story of romance, betrayal, love , heartache, war, deception, defeat, victory, and of courage, I was filled with the emotions that I am sure many of the people who actually experienced this horrible time, and questioned, will we ever live in a world where all can live in peace. And I thought to myself, the problem is no one seams to se what this was like, these times in our past. Perhaps not all people of the world have the capabilities to learn from the past, perhaps they have never even really heard of the tragedies or had a way for them to be conveyed so well. And I thought to myself, if one movie could move me so well, could it do the same for others? And if so, what if other movies where made in the same fashion? Movies about the histories of this worlds wars; The history of civil war, the history of the roman wars, the world wars, the Vietnam wars. Any wars that where fought for no reason, or for pride or for gain in some way other than to gain freedom. And what if peoples of all nations could see these movies, including our world leaders, would this change things, would people realize what tragedies war creates? Could a teaching of the worlds population through such means be possible? Could we all learn to band together and help each other and love each other, rather then hate one another and harm one another? I don't see why not, as I have been filled with hate, and I have been filled with anger, and jealousy, and pain. Yet I have seen and felt love and know its power. Why couldn’t others learn, just by watching a few films designed to make war look as it really is? I was choked up by this movie and it has been a while since any movie of this type has effected me. Others could be affected in this way as well. What the movie did with me and how it actually worked to effect me; was the way it deeply gave character building so that the audience would find themselves attached to the characters, thus when they where harmed, you could feel the since of loss as what might have been felt in those times. Another effect that seamed to work well is to show the people as they died and have their since of emotions shine through. To show them crying and saying I don want to die, please don't let me die.. unless a person is completely unfeeling and unsympathetic, this could very easily cause a person to lose control of their emotions and feel for the actual people who lost their lives in this situation. I have rarely felt this way about anything in our history, perhaps a few occasions just by learning and reading about it. Yet in most of my life it didn’t bother me. One of the most tragic things in our history was the way we treated the native Americans and how they are still treated, still forced to live under the treaty . Another is the way we let our own people starve in the streets while we feast on caviar and 100 year old wine. When all we have to do is help each other, and there wouldn’t be this kind of pain. Yet the world is too busy looking into ourselves and what we want, to care about others and what they need. Just think the movie pay it forward. If every single person in America paid it forward to three people and had those three people pay it forward, we could have this country in itself into a better condition to where no one would be very bad off at all.. and if we could achieve that, we could pass this knowledge to every other country and lead them into a similar state of existence. And what makes this possible is the knowledge that it starts with just one person. But this is my emotional state of being speaking and no one will care about this two days from now but never this less this mentality I have at this moment needs to get out in the hopes that one person, will remember these words and that one person will move forward in this direction, because where there is one, many will follow.
